The `mediawiki-texvc` extension predefines macros that match
the behavior of the `MediaWiki Math Extension 
<https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Math>`__.

This extension has not been translated to version 3 or above, so
currently it is not available.  It *may* be included in a future release
of MathJax.
